Brett Rosenthal

Co-Founder & CEO — Strategy & Acquisitions

Brett Rosenthal is the CEO of Rose Water Capital, which he co-founded in 2025. At Rose Water, Brett focuses on strategy and acquisitions.

Prior to founding Rose Water, Brett co-founded Balfour Real Estate, a private real estate investment firm focused on value-add multifamily acquisitions across the Tri-State area, where he led acquisitions and asset management across a portfolio of $50 million AUM.

Before Balfour, Brett was a member of the Acquisitions and Development team at Silverstein Properties, a privately-held, full-service real estate development, investment, and management firm based in New York City. While at Silverstein, Brett was involved in the acquisition of over 2.7 million square feet of commercial assets and more than $1.2 billion in transaction volume across the United States, spanning asset classes from large-scale Class A office to value-add multifamily.

Brett holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a minor in Finance from Princeton University, graduating Summa Cum Laude.

Austin Rosenthal

Co-Founder & Principal — Operations & Asset Management

Austin Rosenthal is a Co-Founder and Principal of Rose Water Capital. At Rose Water, Austin oversees operations, asset management, and technology, with a focus on building the systems and infrastructure that allow the firm to operate with precision and scale.

Prior to co-founding Rose Water, Austin co-founded Lionize, an AI-native SaaS platform that automated the influencer marketing lifecycle. As Chief Operating Officer, Austin led fundraising, built and scaled the team, and designed the operational and engineering infrastructure that carried the company from inception through a successful acquisition.

Austin holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Enterprise Management from Wake Forest University School of Business, graduating Magna Cum Laude, with a minor in Entrepreneurship & Social Enterprise.

Clancy Waugh

Co-Founder & Principal — Operations & Investor Relations

Clancy Waugh is a Co-Founder and Principal of Rose Water Capital. At Rose Water, Clancy leads investor relations and supports day-to-day operations.

Prior to co-founding Rose Water, Clancy competed professionally as a golfer for five years, holding status on the PGA Tour Latinoamérica, PGA Tour Canada, and the Sunshine Tour, and competing in more than 30 countries worldwide. Alongside his playing career, Clancy founded and operated a technology-driven business — identifying a market opportunity, building from the ground up, and scaling it into a profitable, self-sustaining operation.

Clancy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Wake Forest University, with double minors in Sociology and Entrepreneurship & Social Enterprise, and a Master of Science in Management from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University.
